Long story but worth it.

So I was watching some tv and i heard a LOUD crash outside my apartment complex by the front gate thing and a horn going off nonstop, I knew someone hit something.

I went outside for a smoke and saw two cars (one all fvcked up) and the other one with a few girls helping this guy out of his car.

Apparently he hit a bigass palm tree comming into the complex, no idea how his car got that messed up but he must of been going real fast. He fumbles with his hood for a little bit but this guy was trashed... he wobbled thru the gate and went to his apartment, a few of us followed him to see if he was alright because he had a big ole cut on his forhead. Someone called 911 and the firetruck got there first and disconnected the battery (thank god).

So the cops showed up and we showed them his apartment, they knocked on the door with no luck. Then someone saw him outside running away, so the cops gave chase and were yelling "STOP POLICE!!" and that whole deal. They caught up with him, knocked him down, cuffed him, and searched you know the deal...

So the guy goes to jail, but i felt bad for him because i know he was fvcked up from the looks of his truck (big headsize dent in his winshield //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif and bent steering wheel.)

Little girl was killed in her front yard by two drunk *****es, right down the street from me. Me and my friends were there before the cops. Instead of helping the lil girl, the dumb b!tches tried to drive off....but failed and bury their tires in the front yard. One of them was kicking at the window, cussing at the cops and saying they did nothing wrong. Was seriously the worst thing I have seen in my life. I was seriously ready to kick the foking shit out of her(girl or not).

Worst thing is that it was some rich girls and their parents hired the best lawyer in the state. They kill some innocent little girl and get to spend 2 years in jail and go talk to kids in school about drinking and driving...she came to my school and needless to say, a couple people I know were kicked out of that assembly.

Thats all I needed to decide I'll never drink and drive again.

The first time I woke up somewhere without knowing exactly how I got there then went outside and saw the truck I had at the time sitting in the driveway was enough to scare the heck out of me. I figured if I could have driven across town without realizing it I could have just as easily driven into a bus full of kids or nuns or something.

Didn't keep me from drinking //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/up2something.gif.dd110ecf3ae4b76050d87598f2f8de7c.gif but I am a firm believer of either planning a designated driver or simply ponying up the $$$ and getting a cab. (I'd rather worry about my car getting jacked 'til the following morning than have to live with having hurt someone for the rest of my life...)
