I have two amps, which one should I use?

I have both the Pioneer GM-D8500M and the Alpine MRP-M500. I'm currently just using one sub that I got today. I'm using a 12" Alpine Type R in a ported box. I bought it on Craigslist for $150 and it came with the subwoofer.

I was using my Pioneer GM-D8500M with my Audiobahn 1251T and Infinity Reference, both in a sealed box. I also have an MTX Thunder 6000 but my Infinity Reference replaced it.

The Pioneer seems to be the better choice because it puts out 600 watts RMS at 2ohms whereas the Alpine only puts out 500. I'm currently using the Alpine amp right now, I'm redoing my subwoofer set up because my other subs are pretty low end. I plan on getting another Type R in the future, when that happens I'll probably get a new amp too, but for now which one should I use?

Do I have enough power that I can have the Type R connected with the Infinity reference?

Sell them both and buy the MRX-M100 1000watts@2ohms thats what I ran mine at daily works just fine.

Is the Hifonics Hfi1000d or the Hifonics Brutus BRZ1200.1D any good? I've never heard of that brand but one is supposed to hit 750 watts RMS at 2ohms and the other 900 watts RMS at 2ohms. Seems perfect for two Type Rs or maybe even one Type R and one Type X. I'd like to spend around $150 for a new amp.

search around on craigslist or the classifieds on the forums. You could even get by with a ZX750.1. I've had 2 of them and both I got for el cheapz!

If u spot one on the forums, grab it quick. People bash Kicker like crazy but when one pops up for a good price it doesnt stay up for sale long.

If I find one I'll pick it up. I've already been looking around the classifieds for one. Craigslist is the best place to buy car audio, there's so many deals. If I can't find one though does anyone have any objections against the Hifonics Brutus BRZ1200.1D? It has great reviews on Amazon but I figured I'd ask people who know what they're talking about first.

Its Hifonics. Its not built to last. And if you plan on getting power out of it i hope you like distortion and voltage drop
