I've wanted one for as long as I can remember

There's a few light scratches on the pickguard that you can't see except for when you look at it the right way

I just need to know that it wont depreciate a ton if I ever need to sell it

why do you worry about its value going down. if you aways wanted one wouldn't you keep it. ive aways wanted a B5 audi s4. when i get one i wont think crap will i make my money back on this. ill just think about how happy ill be owning it and getting to enjoy it.

I would like to keep it but if the need to sell it arises I wouldn't want to lose too much, because this is most of my money

If you buy new, you can prop haggle the price with the store, if you get it 100 cheaper and keep it clean, then you can prob sell it for a lil less. If its used, then you can sell it for the same price (if no major damage is done). Guitars don't loose a lot of value, especially good ones.
