Why would you be suprised? i dont want to spend a ton of money on a gas eater plus this car is one of the most reliable cars according to consumer reports.

Plus insurance is cheap on it and i also have another car i use to race so one for daily driver another for racing why would you think it would be bad on a echo if you cant put all this shit in a scion xb with the same god **** engine and tranmission just different body for the car then why not a echo?

First off, if you had all that in an Echo, I'd be incredibly surprised and a little disturbed. However, that would be a badass non-echo setup.

actually there is no distortion, it sounds great... and there is cancellation in every system that has a speaker in it... the fact that 2 different size subs HAVE to have more than normal cancellation is a myth! my system sounds almost identical to a setup of 6 10w6's... but i'm using less power to do it... its loud and clear as a bell, and a relatively flat responce considering i had to balance the output of 2 different substages in one car... trust me, i've heard alot of systems, and as much as you all like to dog mine without hearing it, i think you'd be dramatically suprized how good it sounds

The funny part is, the day you drop that abortion of a substage and get a real one, you'll be the first to say how bad an idea different sized subs are. But until then, you must justify your decision and purchases by saying it sounds better than realistically possible, and we just dont know because we've never heard it. Ive never seen the dark side of the moon before, but I know its cold.

Quit trying to convince us your system breaks the laws of physics. There is absolutely NO advantage to running multiple sized subs as you have done, and several reasons not to. You denying those exist in your car/universe does not change the facts.

Echos are hideous little cars. Generally, a thirst for car audio goes in hand with a thirst for tuning/modification/whatever. I see that you have both, but most people don't separate the two. Plus, that's some pricey equipment to have in such a cheap little car. Not trying to dog you, I just have a personal hatred of all things Echo. i would have put all that in the xB in a second though.

no dude, it's not advantageous, and it's not worth the work i've put into it.... so i wouldn't recomend it to anyone, but if i didn't like it, i wouldn't have it... i've heard a TON of systems.... there really is nothing wrong with it... and i've tried disconnecting the 13... and just running the 4 10's on the 1000/1... as soon as i connect the 13 it's alot louder and still sounds just as good...

well i would, but it's currently almost as flat as a single sub setup... so why mess with a good thing... and i would still use the sony amp... the 1000 watt amp is on the 10's, which i know is underpowered, but think that ap is putting out quite a bit more cause it doesn't have much of a problem pushing them, but my inputs are high-voltage.... and the sony amp puts out 500 watts which is just about perfect for that 13... and with no bass boost it sounds pretty dang good... its a nicer sony amp, alot of them are crap, this one isn't...
