when the manufacture says 12-15 sq in of port area per cu ft of volume, do they mean gross volume or net volume? thanks

will it make much difference if im over 5 sqin for my port area? according to my net 3.55cuft, with 4in x 15.5 = 62sqin of port area. fi recommends 12-16 per cuft of volume for the btl.

That's a pretty big port, 17"+ per ft^3...what are you tuning to and how long is your port?
