box ? NS and SSD boxs ??????

for 2 18" nightshades v2 would 12cubes@30hertz and 125 SPA be good

and

for 4 18" fi ssd's would 14 cubes @ 30 hertz and 150 SPAbe good

im planning the NSs for my truck and the FIs are for my friend

No no no with the SSD's. They like bigger boxes if going ported. 14ft^3 would be good for two.

things i came up with

IA DR 5-8ft^3

RE SX 5.5-8ft^3

SSA XCON 6-8ft^3

AA CHAOS 6-10ft^3

TREO SSI 2.5ft^3

DC LVL 4 5.75-8ft^3

he really wants 4 18s

which of those would do best in 14ft^3 with 150 SPA

so the 12 cubes for me should be ok for 2 18"s

but what about the 4 18"s

4 would need 20 cubes after all displacement and the 12 cubes is a tad large for the nightshade they are designed for smaller boxes unless you mean 12 cubes before displacements..

does it matter which 18s? and i need to add bracing, it will go down in cubes, but i think that that is before displacement also.

i am not up to speed on the zv.2's yet but to my understanding they like smaler boxes also i think you are better off just running a pair of 18's..

i will tell my friend that he should only run 2 18s then, and i will look into making my design around 10-11 cubes. should be easier to install into my truck. and jacob did 150db with 1 15" NS v2 on 1500rms i believe
