well i got everything in and installed but its keeps cutting in and out..i dont think i have the Bass EQ set right...amp is SAE 1200d...any help would be appreciated. green light on amp is on so its gettin power and ive already checked Remtoe and RCAs so thats y i think the settings arent right.

do you have a real good ground? or it wire to the right ohm load?

ground is good (same one ive used withmy other 2 amps) and its wired to 2 ohms....

not 2 ohms..its D2 sub so wired to 1 ohm

low input voltage? bad rcas? bad ground, make sure its straight to frame/chassis (wether or not you used it with other amps)

RCAs are same os my old ones too...guess i could switch em out and see if thats my problem. RCAs that are in it are Rockford gold plated ones. Wat should the EQ settings be on the amp? its almost like the majority of the tones are gettin filtered out or something...idk.

sub cutting in and out could be a number of causes. bad rca's, poor sub connections, ground, etc.

good connection from you powerwire to your batt?

yea...have 1/0 going from batt to distro and from distro to the sae and to my lil 4 channel...4 channel is working perfectly.

and you have the same size ground wire going out of the amp as the power wire going in?

problem is with the amp..pulled the sub out to check tinsels and all that crap and checked VCs with the DMM and both checked out fine....then switched the amps out with my old faithful MTX Thunder 1501d at 4 ohms and it works perfectly.
