i have a problem

i decided to go the cheap route, i bought some cheaper pioneer 5 1/4" speakers off of thezeb for like 35.... bad decision... i dunno if i did somethin wrong, but on certain bass notes it just makes very weird sounding bass..... stock speakers sound better than this.... does anybody have any idea what's wrong, or did i just go too cheap?

Get some bass blockers or just turn the bass down.

are u running them off an amp or Hu?

just the hu.... bass is +1 volume 16??? that's not too high

They're most likely playing frequencies they're not designed to play.......what is your HPF set to?
