Ok I have a 2004 Ford f-150 new body style and i have a box thats made for 2 12s. The box has a port coming out at the driver's side wall thats like less than one inch from the wall. I figured out with will cause problems with my subs seeing that the sould will travel through the port and hit the wall of my f-150 and then bounce right back into the box. I sealed the port hole up for the moment and i was wondering if i could cut a square hole at the top of the box so it would channel the air up? Any advice would help thanks.

Keep the sealed box and add aero's. Ive done it a few times and it works great esp in your application.
ok on caco.com i got a suggestion to run two aeros that are 3" in dia and 4.5" long. Just place them in the middle of the box at the top and it will give me a tuning of somewhere near 36hz. Would this be pretty accurate?

I just ordered 2 3in aero ports that are 4.5 in long. I have been told that this will give my box a tuning around 36 hz which is fine. And the ports were only 2.09 each so thats not too bad they can be useful cup holder if it doesnt go well :p. I will report back and let yall know //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
