I have a problem with my car?

I was driving around last night, I live in ND, and it was rather cold out. I had just started my car after coming home from a basketball game and I was gonna drive around. When I did I noticed something a little odd. I have just put in two 12'' 600 watt subs and an 800 watt amp. Everytime I accelerate the lights and the air conditioning/heating "revs up", the lights get brighter and the air blows harder. Everytime I brake air blows less and the lights dim, all the lights I mean. Do I need a new alternator? Could it be my battery? HELP?

cost me like 25 bucks to do my big 3, i still have to do the alt to pos but still for the most part it solved my problmo, but when i do that wire it should be fullysolved.I also bought a yellow top with the big 3.

Your alternator probably isnt bad. You can get a free electrical test at Autozone or Checker.

A capacitor is not a good solution to a weak electrical system. Have the alt checked. Get a new batt, and complete the Big 3 upgrade.
