On wensday i assembeled most of my PC. I have quad core 2.5 ghz Intel chip 8 Gigs of OCZ Ram, a Antec 900 Case and ASUS P45 Motherboard. I also have a ASUS 4830 Raedon graphics card. I installed all of this and everything powered up. all of my fans turned on my motherboard LED turned green. But my keyboard will not work. I tried turning off my monitor a 22" Acer LCD. It is plugged in using DVI. When i turned my monitor off and reset my PC my keyboard worked fine. When i reset my computer with my monitor turned on my keyboard will not work. I can even plug my keyboard in after i have my monitor working and my keyboard still will not work properly. Everything else seems to work fine. I got the BIOs screen to post a couple times. it dected my processor and gave me the specs of it. Like i say all of my fans, LEDs, etc. come on. just my Monitor and Keyboard won't work at the same time. I've tried 3 different keyboards and the same problem occured. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Make sure you are planning to install a 64 bit operating system also try using less then 4Gb when you go to install it, I doubt that using 8Gb's is the problem but it might be. Also are you using a wireless keyboard or usb? Try using the old school ps2 keyboards as it might not have drivers yet.

If your keyboard is USB, there's a chance that's the problem.

I only use PS2 keyboards.

They're FTW and are far superior. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Gear guy is good. Same things I was gonna say.

I got everything working when I use 6 GB of RAM but when i install the full 8 GB at one time I can't get the BIOS to load.
Search around for people posting about your bios maybe you need to flash your comp with a newer version. Im guessing your mobo supports 8GB but you should check on newegg or in your manual for details.

Make sure that the ram voltage set in the bios is the max voltage on the ram module's sticker.

I Had an issue where 16 gigs wouldn't go into dual channel because the ram voltage was too low for the sticks to properly operate.

As for the keyboard, enable "USB KEYBOARD SUPPORT" in the bios. Sounds stupid, but I've had that issue too.

including monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse it cost me around $1400 after all of my rebates. My operating system is free since i'm using Ubuntu :).
