hey I have 2 12 in audiopipe eye candy subs, 1600 watt max. I had 2 12 inch kicker 03 cvr's that i sold to get these audiopipe subs, i was just wondering what everyone thinks about these subs and if they are any good or if i should just sell them. I have them hooked up to a 1500 watt audiopipe amp right now. any help would be awesome. Should i wait until the new Kicker Comp R comes out this year and get those to replace these or what?

No to the cvrs, but Id recommend sundown sa-12s. Also, a good custom enclosure would be best too.

This^^^. The eyecandy subs are not that bad, better than those kicks. But the sundowns would be much better, and as stated, a custom box would put them over the top. Great builders on here, a nutthug favorite is double 07, there is also ssteele and prorabbit, just to name a few.

Thanks guys! When I got the audiopipes my friends were bashing them and saying I was stupid to get them so I started overthinking everything lol im deff going to look into getting a custom box for them. My friend has a sundown 8 inch in his truck right now, thing smacks hard.

They tend to over build their products, subs and amps. Example the 1500v.3 is rated at 1500wrms, but test benched at a little over 1900wrms. Greaty quality stuff.

those audiopipes are not bad but if you want to move up from them i would suggest these subs, they are on presale now for $99 on 12's and these are very beefy subs, I myself is waiting for the 15's but if you are looking for a 12's this will be a good match and you can get an audiopipe 2k and these will still rock them
