i hate school

LOL Computer Sci major here... do NOT go into this field if you aren't really good at math and logic type problems. Also, I try not to take too many Computer Sci classes at once because I end up having 1s and 0s coming out of my ears.

Best of luck and goto class!

I avoided CS at all costs because in all likelihood, you won't have a job when you graduate...unless you speak Hindi.

Try to get into something they can't offshore - the practical installation and applications of it, moreso than the R&D. Engineering, hands-on IT...things they can't do over the phone //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

i dont understand the stuff. theres SOOO much to it. i dont understand how computer programmers dont get like $1M /yr.
Because us business majors need people to manage //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Its really not THAT bad... once you get the hang of one programming language... the rest is just learning new syntax and applying it. Pay really good attention in the beginning and I'm pretty sure you'll get the hang of it. Also, practice a lot... you might sit there for hours debugging but its truly the best way to learn.

Business is the weakest major ever.

Technically I'm in the IT program here, which is about as technical as I can go without engineering...but it's still very watered down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Although I wouldn't mind having "P.E." on my business card, it can wait a few years...
