I hate ricer pipes

2.5 for a CRX? are you kidding me? my truck has double the displacment, more than double the power, and 2.5 is on the larger side.
My car has a 2.0L engine and i bet its faster. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Size of the engine isn't the only thing that matters.

Headers on a car without an upgraded exhaust is pretty ridiculous.
Thats car specific..

the sl55 is a real car. i can remember for sure, thats the amg right? they sound way good if it is the amg.
the porsche sounds different, very sharp and crisp and throaty, gives you the willys.

amg all the way, waited all that time on the list then decided he didn't want it

i used to know this chick whos dad had a E55 AMG. this dude i know has a S55 and SL55. very sick indeed. a guy that lives down the street from me used to have a E55 as well, he used to piss a lot of people off by doing 100+ down the street everytime he would go by. well he dumped that thing in the river, lol.

Meh, get the SLR. Now that car has some SICK exhaust.

Dual tips under the front tire on each side.

If he drove 100mph down the street i would throw some tacks on the street for him to run over.

if u know anything about motors, yes 2.5 helps alot with vtec and needs bigger exhaust to move more air out... stock it had 1.25".. i upgraded to 1piece header to 2.5" back and noticed a huge difference

Buddy of mine has a 1999 Eclipse with Thermal R&D 3" exhaust and a Greddy header, built on his t25 turbo at 18 psi, he pushes over 340 whp and the 3" of piping is needed.

i would love for you to explain to me how that helps the lobes on the camshafts or the ecu work any more effectively.

of course it made a big difference, moving to 3.5 inch would've made a big difference. you shouldve stuck with 2 inch

if the honda was kept N/A I would have gone with either 2.0 or 2.25 inches in diamater(ID that is). If it was Forced Induction I would have gone with the 2.5 or even 3.0 depending on hp goals.

the CRX Si came with 1.5 inch piping and the other CRXs came with 1.25

I've owned a number of CRXs and the exhaust always seems to be a weak link in performance goals. But hey look @ cheezfrog. He ran a completely stock exhaust, hit a very very generoud N/A whp number and was eating a Viper for breakfast.
