i hate ****in wiring harnesses

ok so i did 2 hu installs to day. took my old hu and put it in my moms cars and put a different one in my car. i had to drive all over town lookin for a harness for her Subaru. i finally found one at circuit city. it is a "smart wire" that requires no cutting or splicing. bullshit!!! it has one end that goes into the factory male piece and on the other end it has a "universal" adapter. universal!!! i tried it on 3 diff. hu and it didnt come close to any of them. it was double the price just so you dont have to cut wires. a waste of ****in design if you ask me.

You need 2 harnesses with the 'smart' harnesses...there's the car to universal...and universal to radio.

It's actually really easy, you have to buy the other side made for YOUR HU though too r-tard.

It's not worth it, for the money... but it is convenient.

dumbass. i worked at CC and the smartharnesses made everything really easy. theyre a waste of money, though.
