Alright guy's i gotta help my friend out some how. He is bout to lose his house him and his mom his mom isn't working . He has been paying bills through house just by welfare and food stamps. i had no idea he was in this shape he just told me now . i gotta help em some how guy's any ideas???? please don't take this into a laughing matter because it is not one bit.

if the guy, or his mom is willing to work and know any kind of trade, handyman, housecleaning, etc... put a posting on craigslist, cash that day if they get a job off it, and it'll be better $ than a temp agency. i get sidework all the time there, thats all i could think of for now. i grew up poor so i know how it is, bummer man, sorry to hear it...

yeah i know man . but i figured some people would have the common heart to help me think of something he could come up with seriously not funny .

that's only thing man they gotta come up with $10,000 2months or less.
If the dood and his mom have no job, nobody is just going to come by and save the day.

If he had a job he could look at refinancing the house. Owning a house and not having a job is a bad place to be.

Are you sure all that's true? I've known a few kids who think they live like that, and their stories always change when they're around other people. Shit, my best friend is still convinced he does.. maybe he is idk but hes moving out of that house. Not the point.

If it were me, and I was still in school, id tell my mom to eat a dick and get a job. Get myself enough money to support me, and be all you aren't gettin shit till you get back on your feet.

Actually I don't know.

Michigan State Foreclosure Task Force

What is the Michigan State Foreclosure Task Force?

Following meetings in Lansing and Detroit in May 2007 convened by NeighborWorks and Michigan’s CRA Association, several organizations including the Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM), Detroit HOPE, Southwest Housing Solutions, and the Michigan Community Action Agency Association (MCAAA) began discussing the potential for organizing a statewide Foreclosure Task Force to address the state’s foreclosure crisis in a coordinated fashion. The three key areas of need identified by attendees at the Detroit meeting were: 1) augmenting and coordinating education and prevention efforts statewide; 2) creating a pool of rescue funds to assist families currently at risk of foreclosure; and 3) addressing the state’s weak laws around predatory lending and mortgage broker regulation and advocating for stronger policy. It was suggested that a formal proposal outlining specific goals, involving many partners and proposing real solutions could create the necessary framework to leverage resources from state and national sources and organize stakeholders to most effectively address these three key areas of need.

As of October 2007, the Task Force has met three times and has outlined specific goals around networking, resource development and standardized training for homebuyer counseling. Current activities, action steps, alerts, and resources will be tracked through this website
