there is no benefit for her to change the exemptions, she only gets $2oo a month spending cash, i'm like a pimp when it comes to the money....strictly regulated. And all her checks are direct deposit into our bill paying account, which i regulate.

yes, because had i known, i woulda invested more of my money into my 401(Ik). We had a specific use in mind for the refund, which we thought would quite a bit more, so now i cannot go thru with what we had planned

ummm...i'm old enough to be your dad and your gonna tell me what "life is about"? Its not really THAT big of a deal, i'll just sell some shit, work a couple hours overtime to make up the money. I've got other money set aside for "stuff" but i was planning on having my truck ready by the end of Feb.
