certianly allways in the box. I've seen two jensons do 148! wtf right, just a good tuned box. i'm doing 153.8 with one bd1500.1 and two 15's, all in the box. What kind of car is it? how much room you got to work with?

i have a 95 thunderbird, the trunk is pretty large, espicaly compared to normal cars. the subs are faced tword the trunk, my backseat is taken out ( it was out when i meterd it, so with the backseat in its like a 135 ) i have plenty of room for a bigger box, but how can i fit 4 12s so that theyre all facing outward? i dont have room to line them up side by side, any ideas? also....what would i do with the box for 2 12's try to sell it and get a money tword the new one? the box for 2 12s is 3.6 ft3 i think, if you think of it thats pathatic, thats.9 per sub. anyway....what do you think guys?

Matt

This is what I think, with out looking at the spec sheet for your subs. I know it is possible to put all 4 in maybe double stacked depending on the heighth of your trunk. and I would go with about 8cuft ported tuned to 30-35. Give me a link to the spec sheet for your subs and plz..plz measure your trunk and post the dimensions. That will make soo much more difference with us trying to help you. And yes the problem is your box. 4 of those 12's should be about to do mid 40's no problem, they just have to be powered and tuned right.

ok heres the dementions of my trunk and link to the specs. i want to have all 4 subs facing out, none of this iso baric crap. can someone tell me what i need to make? size wise? how to fit 4 12's so that theyre all firing outward instead of like they are? thanks..

Matt

trunk is...

41 inches deep

38 inches wide

17.5 inches high

the specs to the subs are here.....

yeah that isn't too good of a score i totally agree and hate repeating this but it's all in the box. i mean my 4 HE 12"s hit higher in a pre-fab box so hehe. anyway your on the right sight to get help on what kind of box to build for the subs.

I think the only problem you might run into is just the fact you have a trunk. Don't expect to high of a score with a trunk simply because of the restrictions you have with the seat in the back. You should be able to do mid 40's with it though, either way, good luck with it.

btw, you could go with a "V" set up facing back, that could give you the room for your subs to face back with , build the box with two subs on each side with 12" from center of cone to center of cone. I did this once with 6xlc's with a 800a2 doing 148's...not to bad of a score
