sonicelectronix has the MOFO's for $145 shipped each. Those MOFO's model very well. sealed, ported, bandpass, whatever.
I don't know what the hell PA was thinking. I thought it was a clerical mistake but PPI has a similar sub rated almost the same. Both are under Epsilon Products.
ok then....i just hate to waste the wood building a box for these and they sound like crap.....i only have 2 shets of mdf i bought awhile back....i'd love to been able to afford the mofo's but to be honest with paying child support for 8 kids it took me about 7 months just to save the $200 i paid for these...i literally saved my change....i'm just hoping that sealed they will hit decently hard...i love my music.....i'm thinking about calling power acoustik tomorrow to see if was an error in the specs......like i said if these arn't the most bang for what monies i have then i'll go another direction....i do need them to be d2....this old lanzar don't put out much above that...wish i could afford to run it at 1/4 ohm though....i have two of them....had them since high school...and al together i had 8 orion subs at one time....blew the other about 10 years ago.....
np....if anyone knows of a better sub please link it.....i'm going to return these tomorrow....last thing i need is to get stuck with two bricks that end up with the death rattle....i guess i need not shop by looks next time....lol:blackeye:
The thing with power accoustik, they are not known to last long. They look beefy but really, they aren't built too tough and are often overrated. Although their older version of the MOFOs are built like tanks, newer generations, not so much. Dont regret the return, and dont reorder it. Just chill and do some research first. Hasty choices makes for an empty wallet and unsatisfied heart.
