i got a new truck

Stock? By the rims it looks like a base model.
nope, stock has steel rims no power anything, no cruise control, completely basic..i have power everything, remote door unlock..the usual

No offense, but why in the hell would you get a full sized V6 truck? Dont they have the 4 cyl shut off deal in the V8's? I thought Dodge said they dont charge extra $$$ for the Hemi feature anymore as well? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif:confused://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
i couldnt find any dealerships around me that had a v8 in stock, and my truck payment was due today on my old truck and i wanted to get out of it so i didnt have to pay it...and the truck i got i really liked...

even though its a v6 you will still get shitty gas mileage, because that 3.7 is working that much harder to push that 3800+lb truck. i bet you will get the same gas mileage as 5.7 hemi ram would get w/o romping on it at all...

lolz.

i got pwnd.

the financing didnt go through, and im not going to let my parents cosign for it.

so the dealership just ****ed themselves because now they have to sell a used truck over a new one....dumbassses.

but i get the ranger back, and ~300 bux extra a month, as well as the $1000 dollar down payment back.

woot.

Is that really true? My Civic Si gets worse mileage compared to the EX model. There is close to a 10mpg difference and I have 40 more HP pulling about the same size vehicle.

You should return it then go back a few days later when it's like 5k cheaper and have your parents co-sign for you. If you have parents nice enough to be willing to do it and you can (and will) pay your bills I see nothing wrong with it.

That's a performance car, and how do you drive it? Another example is 4 cylinder VS 6 cylinder minivans. The V6 minivans get better highway by a good amount, and when it comes to actual driving, like hilly areas, or hauling, still better. That engine has to do a lot less work than the I4 to maintain speed and get the weight moving.

If you dog it, then probably even out, but meh.
