I would like to state that there was a miscegenation (racial mixing), but the biological phenotype was predominately black Africa, but although there were black Nubian's in ancient Egypt they were distinct from the ancient Egyptians. The Egyptian Dynasty did incorporate Nubia as apart of their Kingdom. Nubian's themselves did rule Egypt throughout various parts of history. The ancient Egyptian in there on handwriting translated from the Rosetta Stone by Champion the Younger indicated there homeland as the Land of Punt synonymous with Ta netjer "the land of the god", which is located in eastern Africa which many scholars believe to be between North Ethiopia and Eritrea. A 2004 mt DNA studies links the ancient Egyptians with the modern people of Eritrea, Ethiopia and Somalia. The term race is a social construction and is not biological and scientifically proven, accurate or true. Many of the modern dark skin people of Egypt are not recognized as citizen or counted by the Egyptian government. Therefore, to true number of blacks in modern Egypt in unknown. Many of the present day Egyptians are of Greek , Middle eastern, Turkish descent. They first entered Egypt in 6th and 7th century A.D. during the Arab invasion of North Africa.
Of course there are black Egyptians. Mostly descendants of Nubians
