I turn mine down at lights, neighborhoods, passing dogs, baby carriages,and old people.

Otherwise it's game time.

well i love my 18'si love every aspect of them

they get loud

sound amazing and people eyes get wide when they see 2 18;s

but sometimes i just feel bad when i "bump"

i know many of you sware never ever to bump in public (some how i find that to be a crock =]) and i know ill get flamed for being an "inconsiderate prick" but just hear my side first

doing though downtown saratoga i usually have my bass on -5 and my sub level on my deck on 0.. i turn it down form vol 25 to vol 8 or 10 or even off at stop lights and if i see someone like plug there ears or give me a "look" off she goes

but today i actually felt genually upset when i was at a stop light, my ish was on vol 8 bass and sub level as stated above, and this lade 2 cars in front of me gets out of her car, comes up to my window (light has tuned green fyi) and starts cussing me out w/ my gf in the car

"you little inconsiderate prick, how dare you, do you have any sence? i got sleeping kids in my car"

this goes on for a good 2 or 3 min of **** you this and **** you that, imma call the cops, i wish my husband wads here hed **** you up, and all of that

and i have a bad temper when someone confronts me, but i actually felt bad..

i just looked at her and said "sorry" she stomed off back to her car and drove away..

i was stunned, i felt like a major pus, usually i would have defended myself

i went to the car audio shop i hang out at all the time and was tlaking to the installers about this, and i seriously had thoughts of taking it out and just running like 1 10

but then i thought to myself the looks on kids faces when they see my ish or guys that have other systems that always talk to me about it (im an attention ***** at times, sue me)

but yea, end of rant i just feel bad =/

Honestly man, I wouldn't feel to bad. Understandable she was pissed because she had "sleeping kids in the car". But who in they right mind is going to get out, walk to the car behind them and cuss you out like that. Honestly if she was really thinking about the kids she wouldn't have done that. Now days with people and road rage thats a good way to get killed. After reading all these awesome testimonies I think I am going to start leaving my system up at redlights and such. I forgot how cool I was back when I was 17 with my 15" L7 blaring 140+dBs at redlights watching peoples side view mirrors shake.

for one, we dont say we dont bump in public. not all of us here compete. we just are considerate about where and when.

for two since when sitting in traffic should you worry about that *****es kids sleeping in their car? did she drive past a construction site and ***** at them? i really woulda considered following that ***** home and kicking her husbands *** just cause she threatened it.

i would of turned it up louder and asked what music her kids wanted to listen to. im all for being respectful but the second that **** disrespected me like that i wouldnt of been able to keep my cool. now if she woulda came to the car and politely asked me to turn it down fine, but dont just get out the car guns blazin.

reading that story really pissed me off and made me realize why i hate stupid people.

Im sorry but when Im trying to go out of my way to not disturb someone (it really erks me to have to turn my radio down when I dont want too) and they stil want to complain I can act a ***. I would have got on the phone and call the cops, said there was this ladie with kids in the car holding up traffic and acting obscene verbly assulting/threating and cussing at me in public, politely took my ticket and let her deal with her own tickets she could have avoided by minding her **** business or if it really bothered her that bad she could have just got behind be and got my plate # and called it in, dont hold me up for some dumb shit, your not going to stop me from bumping by standing outside of my car window *****ing about you can hear my radio over 50 feet away, I can hear your screamin *** child over 50 feet away and you dont see me at your window complaining that I have kids in the car
