sue me, its a ford.
Who has horror stories of bad neighbors? Sometime's it's crazy to see what some people have to live next to. I live in an older suburban neighborhood outside Toronto, and across the street from me is an assisted living home for mentally disabled adults in a residential house. This isn't usually much of a problem, more of an inconvenience. We have the special buses coming and going all day, and nurses parking all over the street, half blocking us in the driveway. However the incident that made me write up this post happened yesterday evening. One of the people who live in the house was staring out the window, watching me work in the garage I guess, and then started banging his head against the window. Bang! Bang! Bang! Could hear it inside our house. This went on for 3 hours. I was seriously considering calling the police for a noise complaint and welfare check (don't think the nurses should be allowing their patients to bash their head against the window for any period of time, let alone 3 hours.) I'd just about made up my mind to walk over there and tell them to take care of their patient before I called the cops, but I guess he got a headache because he switched to banging the window with his foot for about 15 more minutes, then stopped completely. It was rather annoying, worrying, and creepy all at once.
