yeah if you call them you wont have any trouble. I had over 4,000 locked up in my paypal when it happened to me, and so for 4 weeks i couldnt do anything until i manned up and called... 3 hours after i got off the phone it was unlocked..

you have to give them your SSN anyway if you link the account to your bank... its not that big of a thing to ask... hell they ask for it on job applications which most of the time don't even go through... so what's with all the crying?

yeah i think i might file a small claim suit...

first time i called today this lady wanted me to call a number because another "company" they use to confirm ssn's didn't have the correct social security information..

so called the number, and find out its a credit report company. I couldn't even talk to a rep, its either i paid for a credit report or listened to more options the automated had for me.

second time calling paypal the guy was pretty cool, i explained my situation and he was trying some things with some programs he had and he basically said i was screwed and can't touch the money in my paypal account till feburary next year..

been searching google and i guess alot of people have had a problem like this.
