I cant figure it out. HELP PLEASE!!!

Okay. I have 2 alpine x series with a 2000 watt alpine amp. I have a cap on it aswell. Cap works perfect everything on it works like it should. The bass works fine at low volume, but when I turn them up the "pop" and wont go anymore. The grounds right I tested that and the power is good to. I'm so lost on what it can be please help!
