If I'm understanding this right, that's like 3:1 draw to output ratio, or am I nub tard?

Yes, it may be, however with the extreme power draw of the Sundown SAZ-4500D you have to have at least $500 in capacitors which are the only things capable of supplying the instantaneous power that it demands.

In other words, you need a minimum of 2 of these.

Amazon.com: XStatic 35 Farad Capacitor : SuperCap 100: Electronics

However, it's strongly recommended to run 4. If you have more than one battery you will not be able to run the Sundown SAZ-4500D, as it only slows your power down.

Yes, also If you have less than a quad VC sub to withstand the stupendous electrical surges, the amp will choke itself and lose output.

I'm pretty sure it's class a/b...
Ya it is, but dang, thats still helluva inefficiency lol.

Anyone planning on running these, make sure you get your flux capacitor first, and it must, I repeat must be constructed of unobtainum

no flux capacitor needed, just the lanzar optiplex, it produces 250 farads at 16v and it's only 720 dollars!
