I thought I had a JL 12w3v2-D2 but I have a D4... I bought a Hifonics BXi606 that puts out 1 x 300w on 2ohms but I have the 4ohms so I will only get 1x150w... Is there anyway to get more power to this thing? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

If I am screwed, I guess I can buy a 12w3v3-D2, but I would like to keep the set up I have now for a month or so heh.

buy another jl w3 or get a new amp....thats about all your options

If you have a dual 4 sub, just wire it down to 2ohm final load, and you'll get 300rms going to it at 2ohms...

I hate to sound like a noob, I simply am. I do like to do things on my own rather than bringing it to shop and paying major money for simple things. So, that being said... Can you explain to me how to wire down to 2ohms. I would appreciate it so much.
