2 subs or 1 off same power??

So i got a kicker ZX750.1 ( 950W RMS ) and i want either (2) 12" RE SE or (1) 15" RE SE or (1) RE SX. Will the two 12's with 475W RMS each be louder and cleaner then the 15" with 950W rms or the SX 12" with 950W rm...thanks yo

i have 1 12" sx to a kicker zx850.2 and it is a very nice set up.

but as i have been told the more cone area the louder. I feel like 1 sub is a better balance and sounds better because i used to have 2 12" type rs but blew them. I think it may also depend the size of the car you are putting it in.
