It does help you get balance though. Trust me, I was going down a street close to my work and road looked clear and was coming up on a massive turn, which I take at about 40 and didn't think there was any black ice out and well there was some potholes filled with water that froze over on the turn and started to go towards the ditch and turned my wheel the opposite way and hit the e-break and got it back to straight. Twas a scary moment for me.Oh it has saved me once, well didnt save me, but saved a deer. I don't take that way home no more in bad weather, or even if it don't seem that bad, lol!
