okay so i had a jvc KD-PDR30 50w rms x4 it sounded good but i wanted more, but it sounded great and went up to 50 and my subwoofers pounded and sounded so clear i had the subs plugged into the lineout rear on it and the ground hooked up fine.. everything was in good working order. then a few days ago i bought a boos audio 840ubi 80w rms x4and hooked it up the exact same way all wires to the same wire color and i even double checked the door speakers sound fine it only goes up to 46 and dosent sound as loud, and the subwoofers sound very distorted i tryed playing with the bass and treb but it still dosent sound good! idk what to do or why its happenening its really makeing me upset please help!

You down graded rather than upgraded of performance.have you adjusted the RCA input to match the new HU?as well as make amp adjustments as stated. For better SQ,and Performance,if you still have the old deck, id recommend putting back in, or upgrade to a better unit,if you do not want that one.I went fro an Eclipse cd3000 to a Clarion 302,and did not get but worse, put back in my Eclipse, and have been quite happy:santa:
