I am SO alomst done with this Alpine PXA-H800 DSP POS!!

In what way are you trying to help me?
John Kuthe...
That instead of going on an on why not try an remedy this your self with the help of others from this forum instead of waiting on Tim are you really that incapable of doing that?

Are you 1000% sure it's a software issue an not a hardware issue, have you double checked it's not a hardware issue or you just guessing cause Tim did it it's not no I bet you haven't the least you could do to help yourself is double check the work your paying for an having done to your stuff is done correctly.

Tim is the one who got my Alpine DSP functioning and allowing the audio signals to get through it and to the amplifiers. I know from experience that Tim knows how and has done this successfully (for me at least!) in the past.

Yes I am 100% sure it's not a hardware wiring issue. I had some confusion in the past about the TWO blue/white wires coming out of the DSP's little wiring harness thingie, but they are connected correctly with the DSP's INPUT "turn on/off the DSP" wire successfully connected to the HU's blue/white 12V turn on/off signal wire and the DSP's OUTPUT blue/white wire connected to both amps' 12V turn on/off signal wires. And they all work perfectly.

My current problem COULD be because my auto shop disconnected the CAR'S battery to repair a bad ignition coil problem I just had repaired. And if it IS that, then Alpine should have designed in and produced DSPs with built in little 12V batteries to supplement the car's battery being disconnected for a short time in order to retain the DSP's configuration information. For the F U C K ING price I paid for it, one would certainly think this would be a good idea!

Hey hey! Perfect weather for our little turbos right how huh?

I finally found a dash kit made by a company in the UK called Connects2. So hopefully in a couple weeks I will have my system going. If you were on the lookout for a dash kit as well you should check them out.

When did ford start putting turbos in the focus? I almost got one but I got a lancer instead :-/ an for what it's worth the performance upgrades cost almost 3x what I paid for the car.

Turbos are the best!!! My sprint is about 50hp stock. 100+ with the turbo. Actually accelerates like a normal car being only 1700lb. Now it just moves around a stereo on wheels. Lol. I haven't done any expensive mods to mine though. I've seen too many people melt their expensive motors.

They have done it a couple times in the European market. But for us in the US, it was 2012 when we got the Focus ST. It has a 2.0 Turbo engine and puts out 252hp and 270 torque. In 2015 there was some changes to the model (for the better I think) but overall the same drivetrain. That has pretty much stayed the same for 2016 and 2017. There is also the 2016 Focus RS which has a 2.3 Turbo engine, AWD and has 350hp and 350 torque. But that has a hefty price tag.

Oh yeah! Im full bolt on E85 tuned. I love the cool weather.. My MPGs don't though! lol

I have an ST3 and will be keeping the stock radio and running an LCQ1 LOC for now. I might switch to a nice DSP later on if I'm not happy with it.

Those sound fun!!! Lol. I have always liked the focus. Car you still get in a two door? I'm going to need another two door hatchback that I can wall. My car will eventually need replacing. I like the new fiesta ecoboost too. Another three cyl turbo. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Maybe you could buy Johns DSP ? Prob get a good deal except it does have software issues LOL !

Nice!! I am probably going to keep it stock for awhile until I get bored or out of warranty. Wife and kids kind of keep me in check. The sound system on the other hand can not stay. I really liked the Recaro seats in the ST2/3 but I knew I would be ripping the stereo out so it would have been such a waste of money for me. Then I read about the stock amp and resistors and stuff needed and that put me far off from the ST2/3 completely. Hopefully after awhile I will start seeing those seats for sale or from wrecks and set myself up.
