I am going to jump off a bridge

JK but I did earlier. Someone told me they will lock you up for like 30-45 days for that ****. I always assumed it was just a fine. This is a bridge like a few hundred miles from the ocean jumping into a channel. It's in city limits.

Can anyone clear this up?

Most likely what will happen is that they will put you in a mental health hospital under what is called a 5150 for presenting as a danger to self, this will be good for 3days I believe, maybe more. If your conditions do not improve then they can put you on a 5250, which will be a 14days hold. After that, then I think it's 30days. And all that time they'll drug you up

Not fun at all especially Seroquel...falling asleep mid game and also getting munchies a lot worse than smoking is ridiculous.

We use to jump off a bridge here in NJ like that about 25-30 feet just for fun. The channel leads right into the ocaean, we had one guy watch for boats and the rest of us jumped. Now they lock you up because of 9/11. They don't take any chances now at all. I was doing this back in 95-99 and they would just say get the hell out of there. Now I believe they can bring terrorist charges aginst you for doing that.
