They do have some output. The rumors are true. They aren't the "best" midbass out there in my own personal preference and experience, but they should be held in high regard. I think those that dig the sound of a paper cone midbass would really like them.

Just for fun, the other day I ran a song that thumps pretty hard in the midbass region (50-250hz for me) full blast to see how much my voltage dropped. The doors did not buzz or rattle. I have to say that the pro tweets and L6's are awesome. I had always loved dynaudio and heard these and love the natural sound. If you are looking for a more natural sounding speaker these are the one's you want to own.

i use the l3 and love it. Very nice sound for a midrange. Easy to install and not a whole lot of "requirements" to make it work.

i have the l1 and l4's and love them but unfortunately im going for a budget system and have to sell these. but luckily i just won some tweeters by tbi twep51 25's in a giveaway =]

I hear that they are excellent SQ speakers, and have won alot of SQ comp's. Just a little pricey for my tastes. I guess you get what you pay for

One day I would love to have an L841 setup in my truck but that will be a while down the road. I still have lots to learn before I upgrade. Hope to someday at the least get a nice audition of them.

Got to hear those a few weeks back and they were very nice. Smooth and detailed. Wish I had enough posts and knew about it cause I woulda tried to get in on that too.

Since I'm not really familiar w/ Hybrid Audio got a question. Read in another forum that they sound best in a baffle config. and not that great in a sealed enclosure, any truth to that.

Yes, they will sound like hell. Don't do it.
