Hurricane Victims X-mas list

WTF! So everyone in florida, louisana, alabama, missippii, should move, do u understand the logic in that? Some people have jobs, family, or just to old to go move to cold or somewhere far away. U sound so stupid. It doesnt matter if people evac or not their shit still gets ****ed up.
Why not...? If they don't PERSONALLY accept the risks they should move. They should not sit in a danger zone and ask for a handout when the shit goes down.

You say the only reason NOLA flooded was because the levees failed. Maybe so, but it was no secret that this was exactly what was expected in the event of a hurricane of Katrina's strength. How could someone voluntarily choose not to evacuate knowing this? Of course there were some people who did not have the means to leave, but you wont convince me that the majority who stayed were not just like YOU. They chose to stay.
And then the same people who were just too freakin' smart to head the repeated pleas for them to leave now want to piss and moan about not getting enough help. Those that fell in your category were part of the problem. Want to blame someone because there was not enough relief to go around? Blame yourself. You were just another mouth to feed.

Rescue workers had to repeatedly and unnecessarily risk their lives due to such smartasses. What thanks do they get. People *****ing because they did not risk their lives sooner. What a crock of shit.

Make no mistake about what I am saying. I am sure that there were some people that could not leave. For those folks (and any that remained to care for them) I feel sorry for them. Who would not?

But they were much worse off due to the stubborn people who just refused to leave and strained the system.

So there.
i don't know how to say this in any other way THE HURRICANE MISSED NEW ORLEANS... (WE DODGED THE BULLET) from the impact our levee's felt we were only taking a beating from maybe a cat 2 hurricane at the most, not much too worry about -they were designed for a cat 3.

thats right i did choose to stay, i had no where to go, put yourself in my shoes, get in your car and drive, just keep driving till you don't know where you are and don't know anybody around. Tell me what the outcome is.

The complaint is over the time it took to recieve food and water, almost a whole **** week before the government finally showed up and at that, the first signs of help i seen was a fukin canadian police officer.... ain't that a biitch, the canadian's got here before out own government did

you say we're stubborn because we didn't evacuate, lets say we did, who's to say we would have been in the same exact situation just somewhere else?

By the way Decipha, I still think that there is hope for you yet. But I think I have already told you that you should not be discussing the whole Katrina -- NOLA situation giving the fact that you have admitted that you chose to stay.
That makes you a very poor advocate in my opinion. Part of you what you need to do to make others see you differently is to avoid this topic. Unless you want to start each conversation by conceding that your failure to evacuate was selfish as well as foolish.
you know i think your right, i just feel i should speak for my people

thats the most intelligent post you have ever made. i give you props for manning up and holding down the fort, but those idiots in iowa and kansas living in an area called tornado alley deserve what they get

Now, do you want to tell me how the **** the fact that people staying in tornado ally are any dumber than the people living in areas prone to hurricanes.

My arguement is live where you want. But KNOW ENOUGH to be prepared for what might happen. Do you think the peolple in tornado ally think there not going to get hit eventually, No, they know there is a **** good chance it could happen at any minute.. This is the same thing the people in New Orleans should have known too. ONE- hurricanes happen here. TWO- water flows down hill. NOT ROCKET SCIENCE

Hell, at least with hurricanes you have a few days of warning.

And yes the government did a shitty job responding, but they can only do so much. Between that, Iraq, hunting Bin Laden, and what ever else Bush has got his hand in, theres a lot of shit going on beside the DISASTER CAUSED BY KATRINA, which I myself am tired of hearing about.

Decipha, you were wrong then because you were stubborn. You are wrong now

for the same reason.

The hurricane missed NOLA? WTF are we talking about then? Who the Hell said NOLA would be just fine if it did not take a direct hit? No one. You know **** well that for days all anyone in authority said was get the fvck out of Dodge. You substituted your own judgment for those who knew what they were talking about. And now you ***** because the people that you ignored in the first place were not sitting their ready to wipe your ***.

You had no place to go? Bullshit. There were shelters open along every evacuation route.

Who is to say it would not have been just as bad elsewhere? Certainly not you, because you stayed in NOLA cut off from the rest of the world. Perhaps you still do not know that there were shelters providing food, water, a place to sleep and even entertainment.

You complain that the first relief worker you saw was a Canadian. Do you not think that your own government played any role in him being there to help you? This is the thanks they get. F'in great.

Why is it that you think your mandatory evacuation ingnoring *** was ENTITLED to a quicker response?

They don't rebuild every year asshat. The hurricanes, much like lightning don't hit the same spots usually. Every region has it's dangers and natural occuring disasters, so let's all move to the moon. I am not asking for sympathy and I never would. However your comment of moving out is assinine at best. I hope you and your family gets swallowed by a fault line and a volcanoes burns you all alive, so I can fly there and piss on your ashes.
People who live on the mighty missipi deal with flooding frequently. Should they move? If they did that and left their livelyhood, then many things you take for granted of having on a daily basis wouldn't be available to you. This goes for an low lying ports as well.

People in Tornado alley shouldn't rebuild either. They should just get the **** out.

/yourself douche bomb.

ssj2xxgotenxx dont be such an asshat

quoting this one, because your other is a page back. We were lighting candles, and AA battery powered lamps to get around. The AC had to be the worst part, it just didnt work, thats all there was to it. We had food, we got a little experimental with things, but we made it. We got gas as we needed, theres a corner store down the road we walked to, and we syphoned our car tanks for what they were worth. Its not HARD to live without your everyday things, just hot and boring. I had heat flashes for 3 nights in a row, but I much rather have that than what some people had. My phone didnt work for a month.,......shit happens, I didnt GO ANYWHERE for a month really....it was to a point where you didnt need to go anywhere but the gas station, and really didnt want to GO any further because you didnt WANT TO SEE what happened until you last had to.
then you waited for mommy and daddy to buy you a car and pay your bills. must be a tragedy that you have your folks baby you.
