i love how people seem to think its the presidents fault oil is so high. not sure what they are going to do when oil prices stay high after he's out of office

keep the blame on him for the time he *was* in office.. just like every other policy that people don't like.

Well, seeing as how the oil companies profit margins were lower than they've been in years I'm guessing a larger profit margin will be needed to keep all of their employees employed.
From what I've heard gas prices are supposed to reach $2.00 by thanksgiving..... but who knows

You mean higher than theyve been in years? Since Bush has been pres, oil companies have posted the largest profits in their history.

Funny how those two things co-incide, and how Bush has large stakes in Texas oil companies...

it wont go down, look at reports of what monies the oil compaines profited last year alone, billions of dollars each,so IMO we will not get any relif , you want relif get a car that runs on gas grade 86 and grow your own corn and make youre own fuel

Not all gas engines will run on ethanol...

Either that, or go electric...but true EV's have a lot of quirks that make them pretty limited in what they can do.

gas is $2.20 here and yes i believe bush and other politicians are part of the reason gas prices shot up. but even with him gone they will stay the same. he`s not the only 1 benefiting from it.
