Bought new computer for $760 from best buy...

Hooked it up, and during setup the keyboard did not work, so I turned the computer off because I could not continue with the setup....

And now it won't work! It boots up some then sits there with a black screen that says Windows XP... Please wait.

I'm taking 4 online classes and if I cannot get a computer working soon I am going to have to drop all 4 of the classes because I registerd late and ma so far behind..., and today was the last day to get a 50% refund... Talk to your instructors, they usually are pretty good about things like that.

If it was out of your control, they will probably give you extra time or another way to make up the work.

The computer in the family businesses office. it's occupied from 7;30am to 5:00 pm daily, and the web security prevents java applets from running.

never had to callsupport on anything so i wouldnt know, i build my own but he obviously cant so i figured why not try a dell they work fine and are cheap
