Interesting...when you experience this skipping, care to explain what you see- does the display remain on, or cuts off and on-or just pauses? BTW what HU are we speaking of...i do have an external amp for my subs, altho it is connected, its not even on. i blew my subs and so i have my sub power completely off from my headunit.
oh ok...basically a poor cd transport, the slightest vibration can cause it to skip-no mean to offend but AIWA is not quite a specialized caraudio manufacturer. Heck at one point I had a 3disc changer home table top model that skipped its brains out.no nothing changes visually. its just a normal skipping sound a cd player makes. not losing any power at all. the hu is a aiwa mp3 player not sure of the model name.
doesnt make much sense cuz it never skips! i ride over rail road tracks at 40 mph and the music never stops. thats why i came on here. and it didnt do this in my last car. i know aiwa isnt a specialize car audio manu, but the deck is kickass cuz i can plug my gba into it and hear it through my system. which is a major plus cuz im security and sometimes i sit in my car alot.oh ok...basically a poor cd transport, the slightest vibration can cause it to skip-no mean to offend but AIWA is not quite a specialized caraudio manufacturer.
