hu ohm

save some extra money and buy an amp to run your speaker(s) at 2ohm...

my friends 9845 is running a pair of Kappa462.5CPF's that are 2ohm speakers and it works fine...but Alpine is alot different than Kenwood so yeah......

you ran your HU at 2ohm? Reset it....

 
What kenwood is it? I know that all of this years work fine running at 2 ohms stereo, (because they run the new .7 series Kappas). If your unit is turning off, it is a sign that it should not be at 2 ohms though, and I would invest in an amp or some different speakers. Try the reset button to get it out of protection, and if that doesn't work unplug it or pull the fuse.
