HU install issues

My friend and I are trying to wire a new head unit into his 1999 olds alero. Everything is wired in, HU powers on everything works other than the Hitwire to the amp. The amp has power and is grounded correctly but the radio isn't sending a signal to the amp. Any feedback would be awesome! Thanks!

did you run a remote wire to the amp from the HU? did you buy an adapter or cut the OEM harness?

what HU?

and did you run RCAs?

yea the hotwire is hooked up and the rca's are ran as well. We got a scoche wiring adapter installed so there wasn't any cutting involved, just pluged into the stock and off we went.

well double check the harness against the radio and make sure nothing is crossed.

Sometimes the remote on the harness has a blue with white stripe on it. try running that one to your amp.
