HU gone blank man

dude i went to a concert friday night and came back and my HU doesnt have a display...like "alpine"doesnt showup or any of the track things...it still plays just no display...earlier in the day it was very very faint but now it dont work at all.wtf is up?:stuck:

Im not sure if all alpines have this feature but mine has one where I can turn the display off..you may have just hit the button....

does it have a flip face / removable face? if so, your cable (from HU to face cradle) may be going bad.

had thta happen to my kenwood, worked without the display for a few weeks, then stopped playing all together. it seems its a problem for that model (kenwood mp8017)

it might be where the face connects to the HU itself...that's the problem with mine. its hella ghetto...i have to adjust it and move it perfectly for it to stay. i cant touch it either...i have to use a remote.
