HU EQ question.

ok.. i never use my EQ on my HU (not the bass, treb, etc...) but the one that is for Pop, Jazz, Beat, Rock, etc... When i have it on BEAT, the bass gets like 5x louder. but starts to distort, and sometimes goes into protect mode. should i not use these EQ settings? or should i just lower my gains a bit? i put my bass at -6 on my HU and turned on the Beat EQ and it still slammed. kinda gets distored tho... is it best to not use them?

If you lan to use them, you have to set the gain accounting for them. Otherwise you run serious risk of clipping the hell out of everything.

sounds like you are clipping your amp, so reset your gain with the beat setting

or use how to use your eq. I like everything flat honestly, but all those are is preset eqs if you change them and look at your eq it prolly shows the changes. mine does atleaste. Set them yourself partner
