My HU doesnt turn on automatically when I start the car and to make things worse it always keeps on reseting itself. Anyone knows what could be wrong???

U hooked the ignition switch onto the 12v?

It does sound like you got the ignition switch and 12v wire mixed up.

you hooked the ignition wire to the +12v and the ignition wire.

theres a yellow wire on the headunit harness, that needs 12v all the time. theres a red wire, that needs 12v when the key turns.

you ****ed up the wiring.

I'm going to go fix it right now. I wouldn't had messed up the wiring if the original wiring harness was intact.

I use a test light to confirm it.
