req 5,000+ posts am a mod. 16,172 0 Syracuse, NY Apr 1, 2007 #5 you hooked the ignition wire to the +12v and the ignition wire. theres a yellow wire on the headunit harness, that needs 12v all the time. theres a red wire, that needs 12v when the key turns. you ****ed up the wiring.
