hu display died

i have a pioneer hu, cant remember which model, and the display is dead. where it usually has the song name and menus and all that other good stuff the whole screen is blank like it never turned on. it still plays cd's and all the controls work. any ideas on what could be wrong? any help is much appreciated

Try removing the faceplate from the main chassis and very carefully cleaning the contacts between the main unit and the face to see if that cures your problems.

Barring that try resetting the unit entirely (there should be a very small reset button recessed into a bit of a hole somewhere on the face).
