That set comes to about the extreme limits of my budget, which is really only about $700. That polk sets comes right under that. This set exceeds by about $100. I feel like one of those newbs who ask everyday about x vs. y speaker.

I think it is the home audio equivalent to SI, IA, FI, etc. I don't know if there is a "bargain" internet-only home audio manufacturer however.
