I have a tc 3000 and built a box for the tc 1000's but have not heard the 2K. I really like the two that I have heard and I would assume the 2k is just as good. I think that the 2k is well priced and of good overall value. The new 2k looks like it has a great Xmax of 28 mm but only needs 800 watts to get there which is nice. I think that it is a steal.

the 2000 uses the tall stack tc 9 motor while the new tc 9 uses the short stack. both very solid drivers.

Well I have 2 12 tc2+, which came before the tc 1000, and my brother has that same 15 tc 2000, and you will not be disappointed. It sounds very very good, and can get very loud. imo Its the best sql woofer i've heard. Now its more SQ that Spl, but don't let that fool you, this was the first woofer at full tilt 1,000wrms, that my ears hurt after listening to 5 mins worth of music

what size cutout for the box? My box is 10.9, it says 11.25....... do you think it will cause any problems?

Why does TC sounds have these weird *** voice coil configs???

The 2k is dual 3 ohm WTf and this new tc9 is quad 2 ohm?? Comon

if you have a box that has a 10.9" hole, and it should be 11.25" do you really need to ask if there will be problems?

it's a quarter of an inch......... right? Is it going to make that huge of a difference?

i can't widen the circles or build another box...... this is why im asking....
