How's this sound?

Alright I'm upgrading my system and was wondering what you thought of this setup.

H/U - Stock

Front Comps - JL XR650's

Comp's Amp- Hifonics NX400

Subs - (2) Re 12SX's

Sub Amp - (2) Hifnoincs 1000D's

I guess my question is how much would getting a new H/U affect the sound quality? The two reason's I don't want one are a) money and b) H/U's are kind of a dead give away of a system and I don't want all that stolen. So do you think I should pay the extra 200 and get a nice alpine or just leave it? Second, will the JL XR's get loud enough to be heard over the 2 SX's b/c I have 1 sx and my stock(upgraded JBL) speakers can barely be heard over the thump from the trunk. When I say upgraded JBL's i mean i payed the extra 100$ to the dealership for the upgraded shit...

The HU would make a big diff in the sql....

and hifonics amps dont do there rated power

get either 2 orion 1200's or one ia20.1 wired at .5 ohms

How exactly does a HU make a difference in the sq? I'm not denying it does I'm just curious on how, the extra power or the built in equilizing stuff?

Unfortunately I had 1/2 my system already. I already had 1 BX1000D, so I just decided on a second one. When I originally bought my first SX I was on a real tight budget(kinda still am), so I went with the Hifonics b/c they are affordable and provide good "bang for the buck." Also since I know the Hifonics amps don't put out what they say, will the NX rated at like 100x2 @ 4ohm power the JL's nicely(rated @ 70rms i believe)?

Also, in upgrading the big three what guage wiring is needed and how much for a 4dr sedan(don't know if anyone will know this b/c its so vague but figured Id ask) b/c my dad can get the stuff for free.

a better HU will give you more control over your sound. also, it will send a better signal to the amps. does your stock HU have RCA outs? none of the cars i have had did. you can get a used for a pretty good price on the board.
