How's this setup? I'm putting it in a 2000 pontiac firebird (hatchbatch)

Kicker KX1200.1 Mono Class D Amplifier

Kicker L7 S15L7 Sub 15 inch Dual 2 Ohm Subwoofer (2006 model)

Massive Audio CAP2 Car Audio 2 Farad Digital Amplifier Capacitor

(getting a dry cell battery soon - not now :X)

Pioneer DEH-P5900IB Car Audio MP3 WMA CD Deck

Going to have a custom box made for it (ported I belive would be my best bet)

and Stinger SWKH0 HPM Series 0 Gauge Car Audio Amp Kit

any ideas? setup? will it pound?

Those specs are way wrong.

1200 x1 at 1 ohm birdged huh??

the sub is doule(sp) voice coil 2ohm therefore there are 4 sets of terminals each pair aquiring a 2 ohm load. When you wire the woofer you could either wire it into 1ohm or 4ohm load, parallel or series. An amp puts out different amounts of power to different ohm loads. most of the time the lower the ohm load the more watts it puts out, but lots of amps arent 1 ohm stable meaning they cannot produce power at 1 ohm and will BLOW UP ALL OVER THE PLACE j/p but will damage the amplifier.
