Hows this setup looking for me

Ok, sorry for making a new thread, first of all. But I need some crazy help, so if someone can help me out, I'm going to list what I am going to get, than you rate it and tell me your opinion.

First thing-Kicker S10L7. Im just getting one, but I am buying two because my friend wants to go in on one with me.Link to 2-S10L7s

Next is the amp KickerLink to amp-Kicker KX600.1 AND IT IS REFURBISHED, but i figure it is like factory new. Also, would that amp be sufficient because it says "600w x 1 @ 2 ohms RMS 1200Wx 1 Peak " and my sub is 4 ohms, so would this be able to hit its peak at 1200 wts?

Next is wiring-Link to wiring kit

let me know what you think of al lthe listed above, also if it will all be compatable together(as in the sub/amp peak wise)

also I want to run a seperate battery to subs just to not kill my own, so what all would be involved in doing so, thanks!

Also as far as the box goes, I'll more than likely have someone give me dimensions for a ported box.

It's a decent setup. But at 240 dollars for a refurb, the Kicker amp is a little expensive.

BTW your subs are not 4 ohm subs, they have two voice coils that are 4 ohms each. If you hooked them up in a parallel connection, you would get a 2 ohm load, so yes, you would have a 1200 watt peak with the Kicker amp. 600 watts is what you will actually be getting though.

Also, I wouldn't suggest buying a second battery. theres just no need for it.

Well thanks for the input thus far. Ill take your advice on not going with the second battery, I guess I'm going to have to do the "Big 3" thing, if i run into any problems.

Ah, my bad, what amp would you suggest for around 250ish? I mean although it's a refurb its what I need, you know? Let me know what you reccommend for me, thanks man.

Check out this Kenwood. Ive heard a less powerful version of this amp with 2 10" subs and it sounded pretty nice. And 900 watts RMS with your gains set low will ensure that your amp will not send clipped signals to the subs. Good buy for less than $200 IMO

The only thing that i wouldnt do is the amp... $240 for a refurb, no matter if it is like factory new or not, is too high.

Well, that kenwood looks really good, so may just roll with that. But what should I do for wiring? I PMed that guy but he hasnt responded yet, so what should I do?
