How would I wire a dual 2ohm sub to 1 ohm?

hello. i have a dual 2ohm sub.....but the amp i have (kicker zx2500.1) is only stable @ 2 ohms.....

on the rockford fosgate website's wiring wizard if i have a single sub with dual 2ohm vc's u can only wire it @ 1 or 4 ohms....i need it wired at 2....

maybe u cood draw me up a quick diagram in the paint program or sumthing....please.

please help.....

if you use one voice coil instead of its intended purpose of dual voice coils. then yes you could do that

There is no way to get a nominal 2 Ohm final load using a single DVC 2 Ohm driver.

Period.

You can only wire it to 1 Ohm (coils in parallel) or 4 Ohms (coils in series) as depicted by RF's wiring wizard.

What kind of sub are we talking about here?

Doesn't the ZX2500.1 make some pretty decent power @ 4 Ohms since we're talking about a single sub here?
