Basically i am planing on wiring up two dual four subs in a four ohm load on a single binding post. I would like to drive these subs with either 2 US Amps 2000x's or 2 MA Audio amps....both of these amps are optimized for a mono load at 4 ohms. How would i go about "strapping" these amps????

2 4 ohm DVC sub has either 1 ohm or 16 ohm operation...i think? maybe u can wire them in series/parallel. i also don't understand what u mean buy "strapping" or getting this load on a "single binding post"

:Drite ho i think i have figured what "straping" means and the single binding post idea strapping: my theroy is that it means runing two amps into a single load as that can be done with good amps providing the gains are set good and equal how it works i am not too sure

Single binding post:my theory is that this means also running the speakers into a single load a four ohm load can be created by running the subs series parralell 1 ohm all parralell 16 ohm all series i will post pics soon:D

:DSCOTT:D

PS all do NOT try the amp theory unless you know how to do it

"strapping" - running two amps to a single binding post containing a mono load.....example......putting the 2 subs intoa 4 ohm load....attaching the wires to a single pair of binding posts while using two seperate amps hooked up to the same binding posts...

First, I don't think anyone knows what the hell you're talking about.

Second, you CANNOT use two amplifiers to drive the same load (if that in fact is what you are trying to do). Unless, they are mono amplifiers that are designed to. An example would be any of Rockford's Bd series amplifiers. Basically what happens, is they act as a two channel amplifier and you are bridging them.

"Strapping" ????!?!??!!!??!?!?!????? Okay?

I don't think that's gonna work man
